Who we are

This sizing tool is operated by Power & Sun. Questions about your data go to the contact address published on our website.

What we collect

• Sizing inputs. The appliances you select, their quantities, running times and backup priority, plus the site country, irradiance and tariff you enter.
• Contact details, only if you save a sizing. Name, and optionally email, phone, company and site address.
• Account details, if you register. Name, email, phone, company, role, country and currency preference.
• Empanelment records, if you apply as an installer or EPC. Company details, contact people and the documents you upload.
• Technical data. IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, used for security and to keep the service working.

Why we hold it

• To calculate and show you a system size, and to let you return to a saved result.
• To contact you about a sizing you asked us to keep.
• To assess and administer empanelment applications.
• To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for automated decisions that produce legal effects.

How long we keep it

• Unsaved sizings are never written to our database.
• Saved sizings and contact records: kept while the enquiry is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted or anonymised.
• Empanelment records: kept for as long as the company is on our register, and afterwards as our records obligations require.

Who we share it with

Our hosting provider, and any installer or EPC partner we introduce you to with your knowledge. Nobody else, unless the law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Write to the contact address on our website and we will respond within the period our law allows.
