The result looks too big

Check the backup tier first. Putting air conditioning or a geyser in Essential will multiply the battery. Most homes keep lights, fridge, fans, router and security on Essential, and everything else on Comfort.

It says the system is above the tool limit

The tool sizes from 1 kW up to 1 MW of inverter output and 5 MWh of storage. Beyond that, either split the site into sub-systems, reduce the backup window, move loads to a lower tier, or hand the job to an engineer for a proper design. An administrator can move those ceilings under Settings -> Engine settings.

It says the job needs engineering review

That is a note, not a refusal - the numbers are still there. Above about 300 kW the tool flags the result so nobody quotes a plant without confirming the transformer rating, the protection grading and any grid-connection study.

Can I change the assumptions?

Administrators can, under Settings -> Engine settings: efficiencies, depth of discharge, reserve state of charge, ageing allowance, diversity tables and the scope limits. Changes apply to every new calculation immediately.

Importing our own product list

Administrators can upload a CSV or Excel file under Settings -> Product import, for inverters, battery modules, PV modules, appliances, and balance-of-system items - cable, protection, combiner boxes, structure, earthing, monitoring and accessories.

Download the template first: it carries the exact column headings and one example row. Tick "validate only" for a dry run that reports every error without writing anything. Rows are matched on SKU, so re-uploading a corrected file updates rather than duplicates.

Our BOM quotes the wrong cable

Balance-of-system items carry a size band. An item with a maximum system size of 30 kW drops off the BOM above 30 kW, and the next band takes over. If a quote is missing a line, check that the bands in Balance of system cover the size you are quoting without a gap.

Setting up a new country or currency

Both live on one page, Settings -> Countries & currencies. Set the currency up first, then point countries at it; the country list warns you when a country is priced in a currency that does not exist yet. Product prices are held in the base currency and converted for display.

Becoming an empanelled installer

Register as an Installer / EPC, complete your company file, upload your documents, and submit it for review.
